I was selected as one of the 5 fellows out of 177 applicants in the first cohort of Data Engineering fellowship at Symbiosis Solutions. I went through a rigorous selection process involving live coding along with an interview afterwards to get selected for this fellowship.During the fellowship, we were given multiple courses related to data engineering from datacamp. We had to complete the course and write a blog about it to make sure our learnings were seen. We also did multiple projects according to our learnings on datacamp. We got introduced to an industry expert who guided us in our journey. The one session that impacted me the most was the session on Apache Airflow about how we can automate the ETL process.
